| We use sea kayaks in preference to river or touring style kayaks on our lake journeys for the main reason that they are better designed for traveling distance in a variety of conditions with the added bonus that they allow additional equipment to be carried in the storage compartments which are both spacious and watertight. These graceful boats can be easily paddled on flat water by anyone after a short skills session. With the internal 'drop-down' skeg system, going in a straight line couldn’t be easier! | ||

Using these boats allows you to enter shallow water and squeeze into some confined areas, which sometimes can be advantageous when exploring the lake shoreline and islands. All of our sea kayaks have a laminated map of the lake you are on fitted to the foredeck. This allows you to quickly see where you are and also so you can work out how many more miles you have to go!
