| Striding Edge & Derwent Water Starting from Glenridding we ascend the famous ridge of 'Striding Edge' and summit Helvellyn (950m). Heading North across the Helvellyn plateau we will take in a few more summits before descending into the Thirlmere valley for a well earned drink at 'Thirlspot' The following day will be spent circumnavigating Derwent Water in either our open canoes or sea kayaks with a 100ft abseil available on route.
